Great pub, friendly staff and locals. Good pool table. Clean toilets. Pool supper was lush roast pork with stuffing chips gravy . Good night had by all. Thanks.

Best place to play pool around Sedgefield/ middleham. Drinks are quite cheap aswell
Early days as just re-opened. Food is ok, communication needs a bit of work, but all in all cheap and cheerful. Will go again if in area.
Found this place through Groupon. Glad we did. They do mince & dumplings on a Sunday as well as a choice of two meats, chicken & beef. Very quiet, lovely view from the windows, you get the impression they're new to this. Overall the food was really good, even my picky 9 year old enjoyed it. They had ice cream which came with fresh fruit - not tinned, strawberries, grapes and oranges. The only thing I didn't like was the broccoli, it was a bit overcooked for my liking. The staff are extremely polite and friendly.
