Absolutely disgusting shouldn't even get a 1 star for the food delivery... late by 3 hours and calling us liars over the phone. 10 for a lasgange which came with the wrong chips and was smaller than a burger bun! Worst of all the manager or whoever was on the phone hung up on us.... don't get this food ever
Just had beef stew on a bed of mash followed by Apple crumble & custard absolutely lush definitely recommended! Now need to be rolled home
Lovely place enjoyed our stay and our meal good value for money
Incredibly slow service. Our mains took over 45 minutes to arrive and with no apology. Loads of staff milling about but nobody checked if everything was ok. We weren't offered sauces with our meal either. My partner's burger bun looked half eaten when it arrived and his meal was bland. Plates were eventually cleared and it took another 20 minutes for someone to ask if we wanted deserts. Very disappointing.
Excellent food especially the pizza which is the best we have eaten for a very long time. The Manor House Hotel is lovely place to stay and you are met with the warmest welcome in the North East.
